Azadî
Azadî is a challenging puzzle mobile game. With a simple swipe, the players move the character over the tiles to releasing goal and get to a new Challenging field. To unlock all 25 levels, players have to play the different playing fields with different sizes – because with every movement the tiles and the possible further moves change.
In order to successfully reach the end, each playing field must be learned and understood the structure and different sequences must be memorized to unlock the way out.
Origin
Basil Knill developed Azadî halfway through his bachelor's degree in game design at ZHdK – Zurich University of the Arts. With a fascination for reduced graphics, simple mechanics and for casual mobile games, Azadî was created. Basil is constantly on the lookout for simple mobile games with interesting graphical implementations. He always tries to meet these needs in his own development of his games in order to create unique gaming experiences. Azadî is thus the further development of the goal of combining graphic and game design and creating new approaches.
About the developer
Basil Knill only started into the world of digital media design when he began his game design studies. The years before that, he devoted himself intensively to the creation of print products and the modification of typography and graphics. The fascination for the digital and video games has been there since childhood and now he tries to to connect the two worlds more closely and perhaps even create completely new applications. With his many years of activity in visual communication, a critical examination of communication, economics and politics also emerged. The resulting attitude often finds its way into his works.
